Testing & Commissioning

Commissioning systems by proving them in the field through point-to-point (PtP), secondary injection, trip, communication and functional testing.

On a large SCADA project the challenge is not commissioning a single substation — it is proving at every substation that each signal matches reality in the field. Our testing and commissioning teams verify the complete system end to end at every substation once installation is finished.

We run signal-by-signal point-to-point (PtP) tests between field, RTU and SCADA, verify protection functions with secondary injection and circuit breaker controls with trip tests. We compare SCADA displays against field data and commission substations in phases.

Capabilities

  • End-to-end PtP testing between field, RTU and SCADA
  • Secondary injection testing
  • Trip testing
  • Communication testing
  • Local/Remote control testing
  • Verification of SCADA displays against field data
  • Phased commissioning

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a point-to-point (PtP) test?

Checking one by one that every field signal (status, alarm, measurement, command) reaches the control-centre SCADA screen through the RTU with the right address and label, and that each command from the centre operates the right equipment in the field.

Which tests do you perform during commissioning?

Field–RTU–SCADA PtP tests, secondary injection tests, trip tests, communication tests and Local/Remote control tests. We compare SCADA screens with field data and commission substations stage by stage.

How many substations have you tested and commissioned?

We tested end to end and commissioned 439 substations on the SEDAŞ network; in the UEDAŞ project, PtP testing was complete in 50 substations as of 8 September 2026.
